Ten Olivet College athletic teams earn MIAA Team GPA award
FREELAND, Mich. – Ten Olivet College athletic teams are recipients of the 2021-22 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Team GPA award. This award is presented annually to the conference teams who post a 3.30 or higher cumulative grade point average for the entire academic year.

Women’s track & field team, three individuals garner USTFCCCA academic honors
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Olivet College women’s track and field team has been named a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team, while student-athletes Lillian Albaugh, Hayden Germain and Chase Mendham have been tabbed as USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes for the 2021-22 academic year.

Albaugh and Brown earn USTFCCCA All-Great Lakes Region honors
NEW ORLEANS, La. – Olivet College’s Lillian Albaugh and Jordon Brown have been named to the 2022 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Great Lakes Region team. The top five individuals and members of a top-three ranked relay in each region are selected for this honor.

GENEVA, Ohio – Olivet College senior Lillian Albaugh finished in 15th-place in the shot put at the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships this afternoon at the SPIRE Institute.

Albaugh and Brown qualify for 2022 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Olivet College senior Lillian Albaugh and junior Jordan Brown have qualified for the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Championships next Thursday-Saturday, May 26-28, at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Brown breaks 400-meter dash school record, Albaugh places seventh in shot put at Midwest Twilight Meet
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – With a time of 47.42 seconds, junior Jordon Brown broke the Olivet College outdoor track and field record in the 400-meter dash. The performance was at the Augustana (Ill.) College Midwest Twilight Meet. Kyle McDowell also ran in the 400, and Lillian Albaugh competed in the shot put. Neither posted a season best performance.

JOLIET, Ill. – A select group of Olivet College track and field student-athletes competed today at the University of St. Francis (Ill.) Last Chance Meet. Three personal bests, including one school record, was set by the Comets.

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Olivet College junior Gabby Jolliff broke the school pole vault record with a 3.45 meters / 11 foot, 3-3/4-inch mark at the Oakland University Last Chance Meet.

FREELAND, Mich. – Olivet College senior Lillian Albaugh and junior Gabby Jolliff have been selected to the 2022 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women’s Outdoor Track & Field team. The All-MIAA team is comprised of the event winners at the MIAA Field Day.

Eldridge helps women’s track and field team finish fifth at MIAA Field Day
ALBION, Mich. – Freshman London Eldridge led the Olivet College women’s track and field team to a fifth-place finish at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Field Day, hosted by Albion College and at the Elkin Isaac Track. The Comets totaled 59 points to equal their best finish in school history. Olivet was also fifth at the MIAA Field Day in 2005, 2006, 2011 and 2014.
