With only a few athletic teams competing this fall, we knew the Olivet College fans are going to miss sports just as much as our student-athletes, coaches and athletic staff. We are hoping to fill that void by having some special content on our website throughout the semester. On Mondays, you will get to #KnowYourOCAthleticsStaff through some questions and answers with our head coaches and athletic administration.

Answer 1: Andrew DeBruyn

Q2: What is your current job title?
A2: Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach

Q3: How long have you been at Olivet?
A3: 6 years

Q4: What made you decide to come to Olivet?
A4: After playing in college and coaching at the high school level I really missed college competition. I wanted an opportunity to build a tennis program. Olivet was a perfect fit for me .

Q5: What is the number one reason you tell a prospective student-athlete on why he/she should attend Olivet?
A5: I tell prospective student athletes that Olivet offers a tremendous small college experience and personalized attention. We have a great campus community and everyone works together as a team. I use my own experience in attending a small college and having the opportunity to play college tennis to relate in our recruiting .

A6: Spring Arbor University

A7: Played on the men's tennis team

Q8: What is an interesting fact about yourself that nobody knows?
A8: I'm really big into the outdoors. Really enjoy fishing!

A9: Married for the last three years to wife, Becca.

A10: I have really enjoyed the time I have been at Olivet College. It's been awesome to see our players go through our program and make an impact in their communities. Looking forward to future success. Go Comets!!
