Olivet College sophomore Kelsey Greene (Burr Oak) has been named to the 2010 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) second-team in softball. All-conference honors are based on a player’s statistics during the 16-game league schedule.

The Olivet College softball team lost both games of a doubleheader today at Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) leader Alma College this afternoon at Scots Park in Alma. The Scots shut out the Comets, 5-0, in the first game and then won the nightcap, 12-1.

The Olivet College softball team lost both games of a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association doubleheader today at Trine (Ind.) University in Angola, Ind. After losing the first game 8-1, the Comets lost the second game, 4-0.

Softball team splits doubleheader with Adrian

The Olivet College softball team split a doubleheader with Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Adrian College this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet. Olivet scored two runs in the bottom half of the 10th inning to win the first game, 6-5, and Adrian won the second game, 10-2.

The Olivet College softball team opened Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play by sweeping a doubleheader from Albion College this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet. The Comets won the first game in dramatic fashion, 3-2, and hung on to win the nightcap, 6-4.

The Olivet College softball team swept a non-conference doubleheader from Huntington (Ind.) University today in its home-opener at the Cutler Athletic Complex. The Comets won both games, 5-4.

The Olivet College softball team opened the northern portion of its schedule today and was swept in a non-conference doubleheader at NCAA Division II foe Grand Valley State University. Grand Valley won by scores of 10-1 and 5-1.

Softball team beats Anna Maria, loses to Washington at Gene Cusic Classic

In the third day of competition at the Gene Cusic Classic, the Olivet College softball team split a pair of games at the Lee County Sports Complex in Fort Myers, Fla. After losing to Washington (Md.) College 7-6 in eight innings, the Comets bounced back to beat Anna Maria (Mass.) College, 9-3.

Softball team loses two close games at Gene Cusic Classic

The Olivet College softball team lost two close games today in its second day of competition at Gene Cusic Classic in Fort Myers, Fla. In their first game, the Comets fell to College of Wooster (Ohio), 3-1, in eight innings, and in the second inning, they were defeated by Worcester Polytechnic (Mass.) Institute, 4-2.
