OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s soccer team lost by a 3-0 score Kalamazoo College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) game this afternoon at the Olivet Community Schools Stadium.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College men's soccer team lost by a 3-0 score Kalamazoo College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) game this afternoon at the Olivet Community Schools Stadium.

Records: Kalamazoo 10-3-2 overall, 5-1-0 MIAA; Olivet 3-10-1 overall, 1-4-1 MIAA
- The Hornets led 1-0 behind a goal by Emilio Romo in the 12th minute.
- The Comets had a great chance to score the equalizer in the 31st minute but senior Joshua Rosendale's header was saved by the keeper.
- The score stayed 1-0 at the halftime break.
- Romo extended Kalamazoo's lead to 2-0 with a goal in the 69th minute.
- The Hornets capped the scoring with their final goal in the with just under five minutes remaining in the game.
- Olivet tallied four shots in the game.
- Rosendale, freshman Noah Herring and sophomore David James each recorded a shot-on-goal.
- Senior Andrew Aragon started in goal and played the first 75 minutes. He made five saves.
- Sophomore Carlos Santos finished the game in net and had five saves.
- Kalamazoo registered 28 total shots, placing 13 on-frame.
- Romo scored his two goals on four shots.
