OLIVET, Mich. – Kristy (Latimer) Barber and Tom Sexton along with the 1983-84 wrestling team have been chosen for induction into The University of Olivet Athletic Hall of Fame, Class of 2023.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, an all-female class – two individuals and one team – has been selected for induction into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame, Class of 2022. Being inducted are Jill (Shufelt) Tanis and Amber (Conrad) Votava along with the 1998 women’s soccer team.

The official induction ceremony will take place inside The Cutler Event Center, as part of the college’s Alumni Awards Celebration October 11. They will then be recognized the next day prior to the football game vs. Adrian College.

The Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame will officially welcome Jill (Lingbeek) Cangealose and Dustin Cichocki during Homecoming weekend in September. The ceremony will take place inside The Cutler Event Center, as part of the college’s Alumni Awards Celebration Sept. 29. They will also be recognized the next day prior to the football game vs. Hope College. Cangealose is the first swimmer in school history to be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame.

Three standout individuals, Travis Lehman, Bill Telling and Louisa (Grill) Trott, will be honored with induction into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame (AHOF).
Three individuals – Jeff Bell, Larry Melendy and Mark Raven – will be inducted into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame Feb. 1. The induction ceremony will take place Feb. 1 in the lobby of The Cutler Event Center, and the trio will also be recognized at halftime of the men’s basketball game Feb. 2.
