Leah, you are a very special person to Olivet College.

For more than 33 years you served as a supervisor and mentor to thousands of students, many of whom were athletes. You tended to their laundry needs and helped in the building of their character. Consequently, you were adopted as their "Mom way from home." Just as you participated in the development of the College Compact, you also participated in the enrichment of the lives of students, alumni, faculty and staff.

You took it upon yourself as an avid fan to contribute to and support all the athletic programs. You have been a loyal member of the Olivet College Women's Board, serving on many committees.

We applaud your endless support and your sense of individual and social responsibility and formally induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame on this twenty-eighth day of September 2002.
