Bio

You were a four-year letterwinner and three-year team captain on the wrestling team. You were a three-time NCAA Division III Championships qualifier, finishing second in 2007 and fourth in 2008 in the 174-pound weight class. You posted a 110-20 record at Olivet. As a senior in 2008-09, you had a 39-7 record, with 29 wins being a major decision or better, and finished in sixth-place at the prestigious Midlands Championships. You were named the team’s Most Valuable Wrestler in 2007 and 2009.

A three-time NWCA Scholar All-American, you were also named to the 2009 CoSIDA Academic All-America® College Division Men’s At-Large First Team.

You graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education. After graduating from Olivet, you served as a math teacher and wrestling coach at The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey. You left that job in 2012 to return to Michigan, and help work on and manage your family’s dairy farm in Sparta.

Olivet honors you and is proud to induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame this 11th day of October, 2019.
