Bio
As a student at Our Lady of the Lakes High School in Waterford you lettered in football, baseball and basketball. After being recruited to Olivet College by Coach Doug Kay you continued your multi-sport tradition by playing both football and baseball in your freshman year. By the time you graduated, four years later, you had lettered in both sports for four years. You were honored as All MIAA in football in your senior year and All MIAA in baseball in both your junior and senior years. Your teammates honored you by selecting you as their Team Captain in both football and baseball in your senior year. Your exceptional athletic performance was recognized when you awarded the Walter Sprandel Award in your senior year.
As a student you also remained busy on campus as a member of Kappa Sigma Alpha Fraternity and as the team manager for the varsity basketball team in your senior year. In 1978 you earned a B.A. with a major in physical science and a minor in economics.
Because of your outstanding athletic abilities as an athlete and businessperson it is with great pride that this 16th day of September 2000 we induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame.
