Bio

For four years, you played and lettered on the Olivet College football team. As a freshman, you were selected as the “Freshman of the Year,” and your teammates voted you as a team captain for the next three years. As a junior and senior, you earned first-team All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association honors and were voted as the team Offensive Back of the Year. As a senior in 1991, you were also named to the GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-District IV team.

Since leaving Olivet, you earned a master’s degree from Oakland University in 1996. You have coached football and basketball at Walled Lake Western High School. You were also a science/math teacher and track coach at Abbott Middle School in the West Bloomfield school district. Currently, you serve West Bloomfield as a high school math teacher and head football and assistant track coach. In 2000, you led the football team to the state playoffs for the first time in school history and were selected as the Oakland Press Coach of the Year.

Olivet honors you as a winner and is proud to induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame on this 17th day of September, 2004.
