You were a four-year letterwinner on the track and field team. In 1978 and 1980, you earned All-MIAA honors and were named the MIAA’s Most Valuable Performer. In 1978, you won the MIAA championships in the 100 and 200 dash, and ran the opening leg of the winning 1600 relay. You placed eighth in the 200 at the NCAA Division III National Championships.

In 1980, you won both the 100 and 200 at the MIAA Field Day. With the win in the 100, you broke the MIAA record at 10.7 seconds. You also competed in the 200 at the NCAA Division III National Championships. At the time of your graduation from Olivet, you held the school record in both the 100 and 200. You also earned a varsity letter in football in 1979.

After graduating from Olivet with a degree in business administration, you moved to Kalamazoo to begin your career as a district manager for Purina Mills.

Olivet honors you and is proud to induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame this 2nd day of October, 2015.
