Bio

The success you experienced in wrestling at Olivet exemplifies your determination and competitive nature to win. You finished your outstanding four-year career by posting a record of 150 wins, 17 losses and 1 tie while earning All-America honors for three straight seasons. During your junior year, you ended the season by winning the NCAA Divisiion III title at the 142-pound weight class. You became the first MIAA wrestler to win a national title and you also hold the distinction of being the only Olivet wrestler to go through a season without a loss. You were a three-time MIAA champion, earning league Most Valuable Wrestler honors in 1983 and 1984 as well as Olivet's Most Valuable Wrestler in 1982, 1984 and 1985.

Your love for discipline led you into the United States Marine Corps in 1985 and on August 1, 1900, you were promoted to the rank of Captain. Your competitive nature now has you pursuing a law degree.

It is with great honor that we welcome you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame on this 19th day of October, 1991.
