Bio

Although you earned four letters in cross country and one in track at Olivet, it was in basketball that you made your mark. You played four years of varsity basketball, three years on Olivet College MIAA Championship teams. You were a key player in 1972 when Olivet won the MIAA championship with a 12-0 record. In 1972, you averaged 12 points per game (56 percent from the field and 79 percent on foul shots) and were named Most Valuable Player of the Marshall Tournament. You were all MIAA for three years and co-captain in 1973.

Your remarkable talents took you on an adventure to Australia where you were a physical education director but also set a record of 24 points per game, playing for the Nunawading Demons of the Australian Professional Basketball league.

You attained a Master’s Degree at Western Michigan University and are using your attributes of leadership as a teacher of young people.

Olivet College is proud to induct you into the Olivet College Hall of Fame on this 11th day of October, 1986.
