Bio
As a student athlete at Olivet College you lettered in Basketball,
Track, and Football. In football, despite serious injuries, in 1981
you were named to the MIAA 2nd team by having more receptions for
one season than any other player in the league. You were also named
Honorable Mention All-American in 1981. By 1982 you had reached the
height of your success when you were named the Nation’s
Leading Returning Receiver Division III, NCAA for that season. You
were also honored by teammates by being named team co-captain in
your senior year.
As a student you excelled both as a campus leader and in
academics. You were a member and President of the Kappa Sigma Alpha
Fraternity. You were elected to membership in Omicron Delta Kappa,
the national scholastic and leadership honorary fraternity, and you
served as a student athlete representative to the MIAA from
1980-82. In your senior year you were listed in Who’s Who
Among American College and University Students.
After graduation you continued your education receiving an M.A. in
counseling education and counseling psychology. These degrees have
served you well in your current career as a family therapist with
Starr Commonwealth Schools.
Because of your outstanding abilities as an athlete and as a
student, it is with great pride that on this 26th day of October,
1996, we induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of
Fame.
