Bio

Your desire to play football came true at Olivet College.

Your natural athletic abilities led you to become an excellent defensive player in football as well as a member of the junior varsity tennis team. Your coaches enjoyed working with you during your four years on the field, and in your senior year you received All-MIAA honors. In 1966 you were chosen captain of the football team.

While you were at Olivet you majored in math and served as freshman class president as well as student body president for two years. You went on to earn a master's degree in education administration at Central Michigan University, and today you serve as an outstanding math teacher in the Traverse City area.

A member of the Kappa Sigma society, you married your college sweetheart, Soronian, Patricia Roach, in the Olivet Congregational Church. You are both active in your church in Traverse City as well as being involved in other community activities.

Because of your athletic skills as a student and loyalty to Olivet College it is on this day, October 3, 1992, that we welcome you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame.
