Bio

You were a multi-talented athlete as a student at Olivet College. You participated in Track, Basketball, and Football. You lettered four years in Football and one year in Track. In Football you brought great distinction to yourself and your Alma Mater. In 1981 you broke all Olivet College existing passing records. Many of those records remain unbroken today. You also hold a variety of MIAA conference passing records and were named All-MIAA in 1981. That same year you were ranked Top Ten in the Nation in Passing. Your abilities as a team leader were recognized when you were named Football Team Captain in your senior year.

As a student your interests in education were demonstrated by your membership in the Olivet College Educational Organization. You were also a member of the Kappa Sigma Alpha Fraternity.

After graduation from Olivet you pursued an M.A. from Western Michigan University. Your football talents have continued as a successful high school and college coach. You served as head coach of the 1987 Class D State Championship Martin High School Football Team, Offensive Coordinator and Athletic Recruiting Coordinator for Olivet College and are currently serving as the Head Football Coach at Kalamazoo Central High School.

Because of your exceptional abilities as a student athlete, it is with great pride that on this 26th day of October, 1996, we induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame.
