Bio

You used your athletic ability to the fullest at Olivet, as you excelled as a three-sport standing, earning four varsity letters in tennis, three in field hockey and one in volleyball. You were captain of the tennis team for two seasons as well as field hockey co-captain for one year. In 1979, you earned All-MIAA honors as a tennis player and were selected by your peers as the Most Valuable Player.

After graduating from Olivet, you went on to earn a master's degree in special education from Western Michigan University and have taught for the five years at Starr Commonwealth Schools in Albion. For seven year you coached volleyball and track at the junior and senior high school levels. Your dedication to athletics, competitive spirit, and personality have made you a success both on and off the athletic arena.

Your dedication and commitment to athletics at Olivet College have earned you the honor of induction into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame on this 19th day of October, 1991.
