Bio

While at Olivet he was selected for various All-Star teams throughout the state. He was named to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics District All-Star team for four consecutive years. He received Honorable Mention several times in the MIAA and in 1961 was named to the All-MIAA Second Team. During his Olivet career he was named Most Valuable Player each of his college years. He set a new all-time high scoring record in basketball in 1962 with a career mark of 1,562. Few have ever displayed more courage for play or inspiration to fellow teammates.
