Bio
Your quiet ways and kind disposition deceived many as you
aggresively challenged your opponents. Your skill, discipline and
athletic ability provided the basis for your outstanding career in
wrestling and track at Olivet. You were undefeated in league
matches and earned All-MIAA honors each year during your four-year
career. As a senior, you were named the MIAA's Most Valuable
Wrestler. You participated in four NCAA Division III tournaments
and finished your career with an overall record of 100 wins, 9
losses and one tie.
Along with your success on the mats, you also earned four letters in track and field.
You wrestled for your coach and friend, Jare Klein, who encouraged you to set high goals for yourself personally and athletically.
It is with great pride and pleasure that we formally induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame on this 19th day of October, 1991.
