Bio
In 1958 you helped the Olivet College football squad defeat
Kalamazoo College and break a 29-game losing streak. This turned
the tide for Olivet and you assumed the role of quarterback. You
lettered in football three years and received MIAA honorable
mention honors your sophomore and junior years. You took up the
round ball in 1959 and lettered for Olivet in this sport also.
Your skill, discipline and athletic ability have provided the basis for your outstanding career on the field and court and in the world of manufacturing. During your senior year you taught and coached at Vermontville High while attending classes. After graduation you pursued a career in the area of production control, materials management and sales for several companies and became president of Arco Industries in Schoolcraft, Michigan.
It is with great pride that we formally induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame on this twenty-eighth day of September 2002.
