Bio

You are the most successful swimmer in Olivet’s history. You earned All-MIAA honors in 2004, 2005 and 2006. At the 2004 MIAA Championships, you placed third in the 100 butterfly, fourth in the 100 backstroke and seventh in the 200 butterfly.

At the 2005 MIAA Championships, you won the 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly. You broke the MIAA record in the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.32 seconds. A month later, you became the first women’s swimmer in school history to compete at the NCAA Division III Championships. While there, you earned Honorable Mention All-American honors with an 11th-place finish in the 100 backstroke and 16th-place performance in the 100 butterfly.

At the 2006 MIAA Championships, you placed first in the 100 backstroke, and second in the 100 and 200 butterfly. At the NCAA Championships, you became the first swimming All-American in school history by virtue of finishing seventh in the 100 backstroke and eighth in the 100 butterfly. You were also selected to the CSCAA Individual Academic All-American team and the MIAA Academic Honor Roll at the conclusion of your senior season

Your best times in 100 backstroke (:58.66), 200 backstroke (2:10.48), 100 butterfly (:57.15) and 200 butterfly (2:08.78) still stand as the school record. You also swam the butterfly leg of both the school-record setting 200 and 400 medley relays.

Olivet honors you and is proud to induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame this 29th day of September, 2017.
