Bio

You played basketball for four years and earned a varsity letter each year. You also lettered as a member of the cross country and track teams.

During the 1957-58 basketball season, you were a captain. After the season, you were selected as the team’s Most Valuable Player and earned second-team All-MIAA honors.
In 1958, you broke the school record in the long jump by recording a 22 foot, 7 1/2 inch leap.

You were a member of the Adelphic Alpha Pi fraternity, Blair Hall Board, Inter-Society Council, Homecoming Committee, Monogram Club and Chorus.

You earned a master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in July 1961. You have served as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal, principal, area assistant superintendent and area superintendent in the Detroit Public Schools for 39 years.

Olivet honors you and is proud to induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame on this 29th day of September, 2007.
