Bio

At Vicksburg High School you lettered in track, basketball and volleyball. Your talents were rewarded when you were inducted into the Vicksburg High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

As a student at Olivet College you participated in women’s basketball, volleyball and softball. Your exceptional athletic ability allowed you to letter in all three sports. In 1982 you helped your team become MIAA-Co Champions in softball. As an Olivet College athlete you distinguished yourself by earning awards as Most Improved Player, softball and Most Valuable Player, volleyball. Your teammates honored you by selecting you as Co-Captain of the Women’s Basketball Team and Captain of the Volleyball Team.

As a student you earned a B.A. in elementary education with a major in physical education and minor in social studies. You were also active on campus as a member of the Soronian Society and as a orientation leader. After leaving Olivet you earned an A.S. degree in quality control engineering at Lansing Community College and graduated Phi Beta Kappa.

For over 16 years you have been employed by General Motors where you currently serve as group supervisor for Engineering Operations at General Motors Truck Group in Pontiac. Your employer noticed your talents and awarded you (6) Suggestion Awards for Process Improvements and Cost Savings and the Quality Award for the Medium Duty Truck Product Assembly Document.

Because of your outstanding abilities as an athlete and businessperson it is with great pride that this 16th day of September, 2000 we induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame.
