You were a three-year letterwinner on the softball diamond and
finished your career as one of Olivet’s best players. You
ended your career as Olivet’s all-time leader with 31 wins,
1.47 ERA, 386 and one-third innings pitched and 445 strikeouts. You
are also ranked first and second in the MIAA for single-season

Indiana.
In addition to your success in the circle, you were also a threat

leaders with a .364 batting average, .477 slugging percentage and
17 doubles.
In 1999, you were the first woman in school history to earn Most
Valuable Player honors from the MIAA. You earned first team
All-MIAA honors in 1999 and 2000 and first-team All-Region honors
in 2000.
You were an active member of the Sigma Beta sorority and Gamma
Iota Sigma. You were also selected as the Homecoming Princess in
1999.
After graduating from Olivet in 2000, you taught in the Lansing
School District for five years and were the varsity softball coach
at Everett High School. Presently, you teach first grade at Spencer
Elementary in the Savannah/Chatham County School District in
Savannah, Georgia.
Olivet honors you and is proud to induct you into the Olivet
College Athletic Hall of Fame on this 29th day of September,
