Olivet finishes 37th and 38th at NCAA Regional

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – The University of Olivet women's and men's cross country teams finished 37th and 38th at the 2024 NCAA Regional Meet, hosted by Franklin (Ind.) College and at the Blue River Cross Country Course.

- UO Men's Team: 38th of 42 (1,121 points)
- Top UO Women's Individual: Sarah Grove, 150th of 270

HOW IT HAPPENED - WOMEN
- The Comets totaled 1,064 points.
- DePauw (Ind.) University edged Calvin University for first-place by three points, 91 to 94.
FOR THE COMET WOMEN
- Sophomore Sarah Grove completed the 6K race in 25:09.42.
- Freshman Casidhe Flesher was next at 25:54.02.
- sophomore Aubrey Connelly clocked-in at 27:01.27.
- Junior Jamie Stiver ran the race in 29:07.02.
- Sophomore Aaliyah Cota finished in 29:10.22.
HOW IT HAPPENED - MEN
- The Comets totaled 1,121 points.
- Calvin captured the regional title with 99 points.
FOR THE COMET MEN
- Freshman Luke Senters was the top Olivet runner, as he completed the 8K course in 28:55.65.
- Junior Anthony DeVito finished not far behind in 29:04.75.
- Sophomore Deegan Bodell had a time of 29:34.99.
- Freshman Braeden Jones covered the course in 29:45.45.
- Freshman Izayha Givens had a season-best time of 30:04.98.
