Grove finishes fifth at SVSU Red October

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Junior Sarah Grove finished fifth to lead The University of Olivet women's cross country team at the Saginaw Valley State University Red October Meet.

• Location: SVSU Cross Country Course; University Center, Michigan

FOR THE COMETS

• The Comets recorded 90 points. Wayne State University took first with 28 points, followed by Alma College (47) and host Cardinals (69).
• Grove clocked-in with a time of 24:50.0 for the 6K course. The only runners to finish ahead of her were three student-athletes from Wayne State and an unattached runner.
• Sophomore Aubrey Connelly had a time of 26:26.9.
• Freshman Lovelyn Ketepa finished in 27:06.8.
• Senior Lily Connelly was next at 27:18.6.
• Freshman Casidhe Flesher crossed the finish line in 28:09.4.

• The Comets now focus on the 2024 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships on Saturday, November 2. The race will be at the Gainey Athletic Complex in Grand Rapids.
