LANSING, Mich. – Led by junior Sarah Grove's 15th-place finish, The University of Olivet women's cross country team finished ninth at the Lansing Community College Invitational, held at Grand Woods Park.

FOR THE COMETS

  • Grove covered the 5K course in 20:41.2 to place 15th of 121 runners.
  • Sophomore Aubrey Connelly finished 36th with a time of 21:52.9.
  • Freshman Lovelyn Ketepa and senior Lily Connelly had times of 23:18.1 and 23:19.9, respectively.
  • Sophomore Aaliyah Cota crossed the finish line in 24:45.6.
  • Junior Jamie Stiver posted a time of 25:32.7.

  • The Comets are back in action Friday, October 11, at the Bethel (Ind.) University Invitational. The races are at the St. Patrick's County Park in South Bend, Indiana.
