Olivet runs at 5th Annual Northwood Invitational

MIDLAND, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's and women's cross country teams ran today at the 5th Annual North University Invitational. The women's team finished seven of 10 schools, while the men were 10th.

THE BASICS

• Location: Fisher Family Trails; Midland, Michigan

FOR THE WOMEN

• Junior Sarah Grove paced Olivet with a 20:12.0 for the 5K course.
• Sophomore Aubrey Connelly crossed the finish line in 21:42.6.
• Senior Lily Connelly was next at 22:07.3.
• Freshman Lovelyn Ketepa finished right behind her in 22:08.5.

FOR THE MEN

• Sophomore Deegan Bodell had Olivet's top time at 20:41.2 for the 6K course.
• Freshman Luke Senters posted a time of 21:31.2.
• Freshman Kutter Vanaken tallied a time of 22:30.0.
• Freshman Izayha Givens was not far behind in 22:42.8.

UP NEXT

• Olivet is off until Saturday, September 20, when it competes at the Lansing Community College Invitational. The races are Grand Woods Park in Lansing.
