Women’s cross country team takes 32nd at MIAA Championship
HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s cross country team placed 32nd at the 2022 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Meet. Hope College hosted the 8K race at the Three Fires Golf Club.

HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College women's cross country team placed 32nd at the 2022 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Meet. Hope College hosted the 8K race at the Three Fires Golf Club.
- Location: Three Fires Golf Club; Holland, Michigan
- Team Finish: 32nd of 34 schools / 860 points
- John Carroll (Ohio) University won the team title to earn the region's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship next Saturday at the Forest Akers Golf Course in East Lansing.
- Anastasia Tucker from Hope College was the individual winner, finishing the race in 20:46.0 to beat the runner-up finish by 20 seconds.
- The Comets totaled 860 points.
- Sophomore Abbey Peters was Olivet's top finisher, as she was 147th with a time of 24:48.6.
- Senior Savannah Baker finished in a personal-best time of 25:39.5.
- Freshman Sarah Grove crossed the finish line in a season-best time of 25:51.7.
- Junior Allyson Stevens was next at 26:17.5, followed closely by senior Tonya Tepin at a personal-best time of 26:18.6.
- Freshman Jamie Stiver posted a season-best time of 27:16.9.
- Junior Taryn Campbell completed the Comet lineup with a season-best time of 27:27.6.
