Women’s cross country team ninth at MIAA Championship
SHEPHERD, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s cross country team was ninth at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship. The race was hosted by Alma College but ran at Shepherd High School.

SHEPHERD, Mich. – The Olivet College women's cross country team was ninth at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship. The race was hosted by Alma College but ran at Shepherd High School.
- Location: Shepherd High School; Shepherd, Michigan
- Team Finish: 9th of 9 schools / 251 points
- Hope College captured the MIAA title with 39 points. Calvin University nipped Trine (Ind.) University for second-place by two points, 50 to 52.
- Anastasia Tucker from Hope won the 6K race in 20:52.2.
- Olivet totaled 251 points.
- Sophomore Abbey Peters ran a personal-best time of 24:11.2 to finish 51st of 128 runners.
- Senior Savannah Baker also posted a personal-best, as she completed the race in 25:46.2.
- Junior Allyson Stevens had a personal-best time of 26:05.6.
- Freshmen Sarah Grove and Jamie Stiver clocked-in with season-best times of 27:05.4 and 28:12.3, respectively.
- Olivet participates in the 2022 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Saturday, November 12, at Three Fires Golf Course in Holland, Michigan.
