Women’s cross country team finishes eighth at MIAA Championship
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Olivet College women’s cross country team finished in eighth-place at the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship. The race took place at Saint Mary’s (Ind.) College.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Olivet College women's cross country team finished in eighth-place at the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship. The race took place at Saint Mary's (Ind.) College.
- Olivet recorded 226 points, which was just two more points than seventh-place Adrian College.
- Hope won the MIAA title with 30 points.
- Eva Bultemeyer from Trine (Ind.) University was the first runner to cross the finish line with a time of 21:10.1.
- Freshman Abbey Peters paced Olivet with a 41st-place finish of 126 runners, covering the 6K course in 25:08.3.
- Junior Savannah Baker was next to finish for the Comets, clocking-in at 26:01.9.
- Senior Kaylee Richardson finished the race in 26:35.8.
- Sophomore Sam Susalla had a time of 26:54.12.
- Sophomore Allyson Stevens completed the race in 27:30.9.
- Baker's and Stevens' times were personal bests.
- Three student-athletes -- Peters, Richardson and Susalla -- posted season-best times.
