Cross country teams finish 30th at Inter-Regional Rumble

OBERLIN, Ohio – The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams finished in 30th-place at the 2021 Inter-Regional Rumble, hosted by Oberlin (Ohio) College.
Location: Oberlin College; Oberlin, Ohio
- Olivet totaled 904 points to finish ahead of fellow MIAA members Albion, Alma and Kalamazoo colleges.
- Sophomore Hunter Hillard had the Comets' fastest time, as he completed the 8K course in 28:13.8.
- Junior Chase Mendham was not far behind in 28:19.3.
- Senior Kyle McDowell posted a time of 30:54.0.
- Freshman Kayden Shrock clocked-in at 31:07.4.
- Junior Zac Schneck recorded a time of 32:01.5.
- Olivet tallied 881 points to finish ahead of MIAA member Alma.
- Freshman Abbey Peters posted the Comets' best time, as she covered the 6K course in 25:20.4.
- Junior Savannah Baker completed the race in 26:26.9.
- Senior Kaylee Richardson and sophomore Sam Susalla were back-to-back to cross the finish line, clocking-in at 27:45.6 and 27:47.6, respectively.
- Sophomore Allyson Stevens had a time of 28:01.7.
- Olivet next competes Friday, October 29, at the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships. The races will take place in Notre Dame, Indiana.
