Cross country teams compete at Calvin Knight Invitational

Freshman Brittany Marshall (Canton, Ga./Woodstock) was the highest finisher for the Comet women, covering the course in 22:01. Freshman Jordan Ovadek (Grand Blanc/Flint Powers Catholic) was nine seconds behind with a time of 22:10. Sophomore Katie Yahrmarkt (Sparta) finished in 23:11, followed by Courtney Osborn in 24:10. All four times were season-bests.
Senior Thomas Ray (Constantine) led the Olivet men, clocking-in with a time of 29:19.
The Comets will return to action Friday, Sept. 26, when they participate in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree, which is being hosted by Saint Mary's (Ind.) College.
