The Comet men placed 26th of 34 teams. Leading the way was freshman Thomas Ray (Constantine), who finished the 8K race in 26:33.1. Following him was freshman Justin Todd (Scotts/Climax-Scotts), 27:08.4; freshman James Greenfield (Edwardsburg), 28:33.2; junior Derrick Bean (Quincy), 29:25.0; senior Mauricio Palli (Bloomingdale, Ind./ Glenbard Twp.), 31:34.5; and freshman Matt Lusher (Carsonville/Port Sanilac), 32:15.5.
The Olivet women were 29th of 31 schools. The top finisher was senior Andrea Szokola (Marlette). She completed the 6K course in 23:56.0. She was followed by freshman Kayleigh Hamilton (Hudsonville), 25:03.3; senior Stephanie Green (Leroy/Pine River), 25:13.1; sophomore Stephanie Pierce (Battle Creek/Harper Creek), 25:15.0; freshman Tera Bean (Battle Creek/Harper Creek), 25:36.5; senior Rachel Strelecki (Sanford/Standish-Sterling), 26:16.7; and freshman Jessica Woods (Climax/Climax-Scotts), 27:04.0.
