BLUFFTON, Ohio – The University of Olivet women's volleyball team was defeated by Capital (Ohio) University in five sets tonight in its first match at the Sommer Center Spiketacular, hosted by Bluffton (Ohio) University.
- Final Score: Capital defeated Olivet 18-25, 25-18, 25-17, 16-25, 15-10
- Location: Sommer Center; Bluffton, Ohio
- Records: Olivet 6-2 overall, Capital 3-6 overall
- Senior Morgan Dillon slammed down a team-best nine kills, and senior Olivia DuFore and junior Abi Nunez tallied eight apiece.
- Junior Teagan Giannunzio collected 26 set assists.
- Sophomore Jaydn Cary topped the defense with 18 digs.
- Olivet continues play tomorrow at the Sommer Center Spiketacular. The Comets battle the host Beavers at 10 a.m., followed by a match against Geneva (Pa.) College.
