Women’s volleyball team splits two matches at Greyhound Premiere Invitational
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Olivet College women’s volleyball team split its two season-opening matches this evening at the Moravian Greyhound Premiere Invitational. In their first match, the Comets fell to the host Greyhounds in four sets. Olivet then swept Baruch (N.Y.) College in three sets.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Olivet College women's volleyball team split its two season-opening matches this evening at the Moravian Greyhound Premiere Invitational. In their first match, the Comets fell to the host Greyhounds in four sets. Olivet then swept Baruch (N.Y.) College in three sets.
- Final Score: Moravian defeated Olivet 24-26, 25-20, 25-13, 25-22
- Location: Johnston Hall; Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
- Records: Olivet 0-1 overall, Moravian 1-0 overall
- In the first set, the Comets led 8-5. A 5-0 Greyhound run put them ahead 10-8. From that point, neither team led by more than two points for the rest of the set. The Comets reached set point at 24-23 but a service error tied the score. A Moravian service error, followed by a kill by junior Morgan Dillon ended the set in the Comets' favor, 26-24.
- For the most part, the Greyhounds led the second and third sets from start-to-finish.
- In the fourth set, Olivet built a two-point lead, 12-10. Six straight Moravian points made the score 16-12. The Comets answered with a 10-4 spurt to take a 22-20 lead. The Greyhounds ended the set with a 5-0 run.
- Dillon recorded a team-best 10 kills.
- Senior Ellie Louiselle and junior Olivia DuFore each had six kills.
- Senior Kennedy Blackburn tallied 26 set assists.
- Senior libero Jill Arends led all players with 17 digs.
- Junior Emily Keeler served three of the nine Olivet aces.
- Makenzie Krasley registered a match-best 13 kills.
- Hannah Hayes was next with 10 kills.
- Natalie Matos dished out 35 set assists.
- Gabby Mancini collected 16 digs.
