OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's volleyball team lost a four-set match to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Adrian College tonight at the Cutler Event Center.

- The Bulldogs had a four-point lead, 11-7, in the first set. Three Adrian attack errors and a service ace by senior Mia Parker leveled the score. The Bulldogs scored the next point before three straight Comet points made the score 14-12. Adrian came back to tie the set on five occasions. After the last time, the Bulldogs went on a 4-1 run to go up by three points, 22-19. Back-to-back kills by senior Audrey Lama and sophomore Ellie Louiselle closed the gap to a single point. Adrian put the final three points on the scoreboard to win the set.
- Trailing 6-4 in the second set, the Bulldogs used a 7-0 run to go up 11-6. Adrian did not give up the advantage for the rest of the set.
- The Bulldogs built a four-point cushion, 7-3, early in the third set. The Comets fought back to even the set four times before taking for the first time at 13-12. The teams traded points, which created nine tied scores. After the last time, an Adrian ace made the score 23-22. A kill by freshman Olivia DuFore leveled the score, followed by kills by sophomore Madison Chubb and Lama handed the set to the Comets.
- The fourth set saw the Bulldogs go up 6-3. Three Olivet kills, one each for DuFore, Lama and Parker, a DuFore ace and two Adrian attack errors made the score 9-6. The Bulldogs countered with a 12-2 run for a 21-12 lead. Following a Comet timeout, Adrian served the ball into the net. Freshman Emily Keeler entered the game to serve the ball. Her service helped Olivet score seven consecutive points to close the gap to a single point, 21-20.
- A Bulldog kill followed by kills by DuFore and Lama tied the set at 22-22. Each time Adrian scored a point, Olivet answered with a point to even the score at 23-23, 24-24 and 25-25. Two Bulldog kills ended the set and match.
- Olivet finished the match with 42 kills.
- Louiselle tallied a team-best 11 kills and .286 attack percentage.
- Lama recorded 10 kills.
- DuFore had nine kills and 17 digs.
- Dillon and Louiselle each registered six assisted blocks, while Lama had four total blocks (two solo and two assisted).
- The Comets used three setters in the match, with sophomore Skylee Bellgraph dishing out a team-best 21 assists.
- Junior Drue Mullin topped the defense with 22 digs.
- Grace Welch and Ayden Cribbs posted a team-best 11 kills apiece.
- Hailey Farrell and Liz Susitko finished with 20 and 19 set assists, respectively.
- Five players reached double digits in digs. Hannah Sugg tallied a team-best 17.
- The Comets end the regular reason portion of their schedule next Wednesday, April 14, when they travel to play Hope College. First serve at the DeVos Fieldhouse is 6:30 p.m.
