The Olivet College volleyball team was defeated by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association leader Hope College in three sets (25-15, 25-14, 25-17) tonight at the DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland.

The Olivet College volleyball team was defeated by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association leader Hope College in three sets (25-15, 25-14, 25-17) tonight at the DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland.
For the Comets, senior Mackenzie Heator (Union City) had a team-high seven kills with zero attack errors on 15 attempts for a .467 hitting percentage. Freshman Kendra Cavin (Jackson/Hanover-Horton) finished with five kills, zero attacks and .556 hitting percentage. Sophomore Jenessa Hicks (Union City) collected 10 set assists. Senior Lindsay Tarrant (Metamora/Oxford) tallied 12 digs.
Olivet will take a break from MIAA play next Wednesday, Oct. 8, when it hosts Rochester College. First serve from The Cutler Event Center is 7 p.m.
