Volleyball team loses to Hope
The Olivet College volleyball team lost a three-game match to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Hope College today at the DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland. The Flying Dutch (10-4, 5-1 MIAA) won by scores of 30-17, 30-22 and 30-19.

The Olivet College volleyball team lost a three-game match to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Hope College today at the DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland. The Flying Dutch (10-4, 5-1 MIAA) won by scores of 30-17, 30-22 and 30-19.
Freshman Ellen Schulz (Freeland) had 10 kills for her fourth straight match with double digit kills. Junior Mackenzie Heator (Union City) finished with eight kills. Freshman Jenessa Hicks (Union City) led the team with 24 assists, while junior Courtney Lewis (Battle Creek/St. Philip) topped the defense with nine digs.
Olivet will continue MIAA play next Tuesday, Sept. 25, when it travels for a 7 p.m. match at Tri-State (Ind.) University at 7 p.m.
