The Olivet College volleyball team fell to Saint Mary's College tonight in three games (30-17, 30-19, 30-27) tonight at the Angela Athletic Center in Notre Dame, Ind.
The Comets' front row was led by sophomore Jennie Malm (Bridgman) and freshman Ellen Schulz (Freeland), who had nine kills a piece. Junior Mackenzie Heator (Union City) was next with six kills. Schulz also topped the defense with 20 digs. Freshman setter Jenessa Hicks (Union City) tallied a match-high 27 assists.
Olivet (1-9, 0-2 MIAA) is back on the court Saturday when it hosts Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Albion College. The match begins at 11 a.m. from the Upton Center.
