Volleyball team loses to Alma in play-in match of 2007 MIAA Tournament
The Olivet College volleyball team lost a three-game match to Alma College in the play-in match of the 2007 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament tonight at Cappaert Gymnasium in Alma. The Comets fell in each game by the minimum two points, 31-29, 30-28 and 30-28.

The Olivet College volleyball team lost a three-game match to Alma College in the play-in match of the 2007 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament tonight at Cappaert Gymnasium in Alma. The Comets fell in each game by the minimum two points, 31-29, 30-28 and 30-28.
Sophomore Jennie Malm (Bridgman) and junior Lindsey Tarrant (Metamore/Oxford) led the Olivet front row attack with 10 kills a piece. Junior Mackenzie Heator (Union City) and freshman Ellen Schulz (Freeland) each contributed nine kills. Tarrant also topped the Comet defense with 14 digs. Freshman Jenessa Hicks (Union City) tallied 37 assists.
Olivet ends its season with a 5-25 overall record.
