Volleyball team loses to Albion in home-opener
The Olivet College volleyball team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College 30-22, 32-30, 30-26 tonight in its home-opener at the Upton Center in Olivet.

The Olivet College volleyball team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College 30-22, 32-30, 30-26 tonight in its home-opener at the Upton Center in Olivet.
The Comets (0-10, 0-2 MIAA) were led by freshman Jennifer Malm (Bridgman), who posted a team-high seven kills. Sophomore Mackenzie Heator (Union City) was next with six, followed by sophomore Kim Travis (Shepherd) with five. Junior Jessica Petkus (Milford) recorded 24 set assists, while senior libero Julia Longman (Climax/Climax-Scotts) tallied 11 digs.
Olivet is back in action Saturday, Sept. 16, when it travels to play Kalamazoo College at 11 a.m.
