Freshman Katie Fiero (Jackson High School) topped the Lady Comet (5-13, 0-8 MIAA) with 11 kills, two errors and 26 total attack attempts for a .346 hitting percentage. She was followed by junior Katie Schaum (Marshall High School) with eight kills and freshman Alicia Barton (Jackson High School) with six. Schaum also had a team-best four services.
Freshman Meghan Smith (Rochester Adams High School) led the Olivet defense with 16 digs. Freshman Jessica Petkus (Milford High School) recorded 32 set assists.
The Comets are next in action Thursday, Oct. 7, at non-conference foe Madonna University at 7 p.m. Next Saturday, Oct. 9, Olivet hosts a MIAA triangular with Tri-State (Ind.) University and Alma College.
