Volleyball team loses to MIAA rival Albion College in three games
The Olivet College volleyball team lost to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Albion College 30-21, 30-23, 30-27 tonight at the Kresge Gymnasium in Albion.

Junior outside hitter Jamie Hutchison (Freeland High School) led the Lady Comet front row with 12 kills. She was followed by freshmen Lori Graham (Alpena High School) and Kara Brinker (North Branch High School) with nine and six klls, respectively. Graham recorded a .364 hitting percentage with just one attacking error. Freshman Krystal Root (Vermontville/ Maple Valley High School) was credited with a team-best 20 set assists. Defensively, freshman Shannon Hall (Taylor Truman High School) topped the team with 17 digs, and frehsman libero Danelle Snyder (Union City High School) was next with 12 digs.
The Lady Comets are next in action on Saturday, Nov. 1 when they host Kalamazoo College in their regular season finale at the Upton Center at 11 a.m. Olivet will travel for a first round match of the 2003 MIAA Tournament next Tuesday, Nov. 4.
