The Olivet College volleyball team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association co-leader Alma College 30-16, 30-25, 30-26, tonight at the Upton Center in Olivet.

The Olivet College volleyball team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association co-leader Alma College 30-16, 30-25, 30-26, tonight at the Upton Center in Olivet.
Junior outside hitter Jamie Hutchison (Freeland High School) led the Lady Comet front row with eight kills. She was followed by freshman middle hitter Shannon Hall (Taylor Truman High School) with six. Freshman Sarah Geasler (Laingsburg High School) had a team-best 15 set assists. Defensively, freshman libero Julia Longman (Scotts/Climax-Scotts High School) recorded seven digs. Hall was next with six and Geasler had five. Freshman middle hitter Lori Graham (Alpena High School) topped the team with four blocks.
Olivet is idle until next Tuesday, Oct. 21 when it participates in a MIAA Tri-Match at Hope College. The Lady Comets will play the host Lady Dutch at 4:30 p.m. followed by a match against Saint Mary's (Ind.) College.
