UOlivet women compete at CMU Chippewa Challenge

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's outdoor track and field team participated in the Central Michigan University Chippewa Challenge.
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior London Eldridge narrowly missed breaking her own school record in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:05.00. The time is the fastest among Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association runners, fifth in the Great Lakes Region and overall No. 32 on the NCAA Division III Performance List. She also had a season-best performance in the javelin at 86 feet, 4 inches.
- Sophomore Aubrey Connelly posted a personal-best time of 1:01.53 in the 400-meter run. The time is seventh-fastest in UOlivet history. She also recorded a personal-best mark of 85 feet, 8 inches in the javelin.
- Junior Jamie Stiver ran personal-best times in the 800-meter run (3:00.82) and 1,500-meter run (6:04.20).
- Recording season-best times were:
- Senior Lily Connelly in the 800-meter run (2:30.00)
- Sophomore Taylor Facca in the 800-meter run (2:50.48)
- Freshman Ivey'Anna Knox in the 200-meter run (:28.81)
- The 4x400-meter relay team of senior Morgan Jeffries, Aubrey Connelly, Lily Connelly and Facca had a season-best time of 4:22.15.
- Freshman Kenzie Gray also achieved a season-best mark in the javelin (74 feet, 6 inches).
