UOlivet women break 4x1 record, finish eighth at Wooster Invitational

WOOSTER, Ohio – Led by a school record in the 4x100-meter relay, The University of Olivet women's outdoor track and field team finished eighth at the College of Wooster (Ohio) Invitational. The Comets totaled 47 points. University of Mount Union (Ohio) was first with 164 points.
FOR THE COMETS
- The 4x100 team of seniors Morgan Jeffries, London Eldridge, Emily Norkowski and Lily Connelly finished in a UOlivet record time of 49.88 seconds.
- Individually, Eldridge became just the third female runner in school history to run less than a minute in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.78 seconds.
- Also, Jeffries posted the fourth-fastest in school history in the 200-meter dash at 26.69 seconds and the fifth-fastest time in in the 400-meter dash at 1:01.28.
- Norkowski placed third in the 100-meter hurdles (15.63).

- The Comets compete next Saturday, April 12, at the Central Michigan University Chippewa Invitational.
