Eldridge earns 2025 All-MIAA Second Team honors
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The University of Olivet senior London Eldridge has been named to the 2025 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Second Team for women's indoor track and field.
"London has been a major contributor every year on the track and works hard every day," said Olivet head coach Karen Lutzke. "She loves competing and pushing herself to her limits. London is a leader on the track and outside of practice. We are looking forward to seeing her continued progress in the outdoor season. Whenever Coach (Darroll) Gatson gives London a workout, she will give 110% effort to hit the time goals."
At the 2025 MIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, Eldridge placed second in the 60-meter hurdles to land a spot on the team. She was also fifth in the 400-meter dash and ran the leadoff leg of the third-place 4x400-meter relay. Eldridge's time in the hurdles, 9.36 seconds, is the second-fastest in UOlivet history, while the relay broke the UOlivet indoor record with a time of 4:12.57.
Eldridge will now focus on the outdoor season. The first competition will be March 28 when the Comets host a triangular meet with Albion and Alma colleges.
