Eldridge and Norkowski help UOlivet women place fifth at MIAA Indoor Championships

ANGOLA, Ind. – Seniors London Eldridge and Emily Norkowski helped The University of Olivet women's indoor track & field team place fifth at the 2025 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships. The fifth-place finish matches the 2022 team for the highest finish in school history at the MIAA Indoor Championships.
FOR THE COMETS
- Eldridge and Norkowski finished 2-3 in the 60-meter hurdles. Eldridge posted a personal best time of 9.36 seconds, which is second in UOlivet history. Norkowski's time of 9.37 seconds is also a personal best and is third-fastest in school history.
- Eldridge ran to a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter dash (1:01.31).
- Norkowski was fifth in the long jump (16 feet, 7-3/4 inches) and eighth in the tripe jump (38 feet, 1-1/2 inches).
- Eldridge and Norkowski joined with sophomore Aubrey Connelly and senior Morgan Jeffries for a third-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay (4:12.57).
- Aubrey Connelly placed seventh in the 400-meter dash (1:03.17).
- In the shot, freshmen Kenzie Gray and Brooke Jankwietz were sixth and eighth, respectively with throws of 36 feet for Gray and 35 feet, 3-1/4 inches for Jankwietz.
- The distance medley relay quartet of seniors Sarah Grove and Lily Connelly, sophomore Taylor Facca and junior Jamie Stiver finished seventh (14:56.70).
