Three personal bests and 13 season bests for UOlivet women achieved at Jet’s Pizza Invitational

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's indoor track and field team posted three personal-best performances (including a school record) and 13 other season-best marks at the 2024 Saginaw Valley State University / Jet's Pizza Invitational.
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior Emily Norkowski posted an UOlivet indoor record and personal best mark of 34 feet, 7-1/2 inches in the triple jump.
- The two personal best marks on the track were turned in by sophomore Morgan Jeffries in the 200-meter run (27.27) and junior Jamie Stiver in the mile run (6:38.65). Jeffries' time ranks fifth in UOlivet history.
- Highlighting the season-best performances was the 4x400-meter relay team of seniors London Eldridge and Emily Norkowski, sophomore Aubrey Connelly and Jeffries. Their time, 4:12.44, is the second-fastest in school history.
- Senior Sarah Grove ran the second-quickest time in UOlivet history in the 5,000-meter run at 19:56.99.
- Norkowski advanced to the finals of the 60-meter hurdles. During the prelims, she posted a season-best time at 9.41 seconds.
- Sophomore Aaliyah Cota clocked-in with season-best times of 3:00.21 in the 800-meter run and 6:40.35 in the mile run.
- Connelly recorded a season-best time of 1:03.92 in the 400-meter run.
- Freshman Ivey'Anna Knox completed the 200-meter run in a season-best time of 29.75 seconds.
- Sophomore Taylor Facca posted a season-best time of 2:55.46 in the 800-meter run.
- In the long jump, freshmen Jaelah Sloan and Adalynn Rumsey each leaped a season-best mark. Sloan had the eighth-best mark in school history at 14 feet, 9-3/4 inches, while Rumsey tied for 10th-best mark in UOlivet history at 14 feet, 4 inches.
- Freshman Kenzie Gray notched season-best marks in the shot put (35 feet, 5-1/4 inches) and weight throw (37 feet, 8-1/2 inches). The shot put mark moves her to ninth all-time in school history.
- Sophomore Joey Wilson had a season-best clearance of 4 feet, 9-3/4 inches in the high jump. The mark is sixth in UOlivet history.
