Women’s Indoor Track & Field: Olivet competes at Wittenberg STEEMER Showcase

WITTENBERG, Ohio – The University of Olivet women's track and field team posted several personal- and season-best performances today at the Wittenberg University / STEEMER Showcase.
- Junior London Eldridge achieved personal-best times of 27.42 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 1:01.13 in the 400-meter dash.
- Sophomore Natalia Johnson ran the second-fastest indoor 60-meter dash time in school history at 8.27 seconds. She also completed the 200-meter dash in a season-best time of 27.24 seconds.
- Also, in the 60-meter dash, senior Alex DeVault had a season-best time of 8.66 seconds and just .05 seconds off her personal best.
- Junior Abbey Peters finished the mile in a lifetime best performance at 5:30.42.
- Sophomore Sarah Grove and freshman Aaliyah Cota recorded season-best times of 5:57.88 and 6:08.36, respectively in the mile.
- Senior Tonya Tepin posted a personal-best time of 2:33.29 in the 800-meter run.
- The Comets are off until Friday and Saturday, February 9-10 when they participate in the Grand Valley State University "Big" Meet.
